I don't want to micromanage what you build. This policy exists because this is a free, shared environment. what one user does directly affects everyone else on the server. These rules keep things stable and fair, not bureaucratic.
Every account runs on shared infrastructure. If your site consumes a disproportionate share of CPU or memory, other sites slow down. Because KeyHelp does not support per-site resource monitoring, I cannot see exact usage per account. I ask that you be mindful of your resource consumption. If your project genuinely outgrows a shared environment, you will be asked to move it. and I will help you find something that fits your budget.
You can host personal websites, portfolios, small blogs, lightweight forums, and small client projects. If it is a normal website that doesn't hog resources and serves legitimate traffic, you are good. Use the server as it was intended. to host real websites for real visitors.
The following are strictly prohibited. Hosting any of these will result in immediate account suspension without warning:
Even if your site is completely legitimate, you cannot run processes that monopolize the server. Resource abuse includes but is not limited to:
I am not looking to ban people over honest mistakes. For non-obvious abuse cases. like a misconfigured plugin spiking CPU, or a script accidentally running away. my default approach is to reach out to you first. I will temporarily suspend the account, open a ticket, explain the issue, and see if we can resolve it together. If the issue is fixed promptly, the suspension is lifted and we move on.
However, for obvious spammers, blatant abuse, phishing, and malware distribution, the account will be permanently suspended immediately with no warning. There is no time or patience to negotiate with bad actors. the plug gets pulled the moment malicious activity is confirmed.
If you notice another user abusing the service, or if your site is being targeted by another account on the server, reach out immediately via a dashboard ticket or email at abuse@waytonat.com. Include any relevant logs, timestamps, and details so the issue can be investigated and resolved quickly.
